Throwing
A ball above the ground.
My arms are great for
Showing
New muscles that I’ve found.
My shoulders are the
Start.
They head down to my wrists.
The elbows are the bendy
Part
That help me raise my fists.
I use my arms for
Swinging
And climbing in a tree
My arms help me when
Springing
Or swatting at a bee.
I can use my arms for
Wings
And give my dog a tug,
But best of all these
Things
I can give someone a hug!

Superb beginning, Donna. You are so clever, & find the nicest endings always. I love that you found a tagxedo to fit too! I found a new site that someone shared. If you found it, great, but if not, enjoy: http://www.youareyourwords.com/
ReplyDeleteI drew my tagxedo arms and uploaded it to use. I've made a few more for other pictures I needed. Fun! I'm checking out the link. It looks like fun! Thanks for sending it.
DeleteHugs are always the best!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy the Challenge.
I love your poem! It really fits my mood as my arms are aching at the moment. I played golf this morning. They aren't supposed to ache from golf but I don't play very well. It was a lovely day and lots of friendly people around, so a nice thing to do.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your A to Z Challenge!

I love the single word lines that show the rhyme. Another great poem from you.
