UnWinding

My mind
Mumbles
And stumbles
Windywhirling
Weedytumbling
Until
I stand
Closed eyes
Listening
Silenced
You have to be quiet
When the wind talks.

I have now further edited.  Although I wanted the last line to be the one in my previous post, I just didn't like it and it nagged at me until I worked it out.  Sorry, I just had to go back and repost this with the edited poem below.  Now I'll be able to sleep.  Aaah!

My mind
mumbles
and stumbles
windywhirling
weedytumbling
until
I stand
eyes closed
listening
silenced
quiet
when the wind
Talks.

  1. I think if I hadn't read yesterday's post, I would still love the poem, but that post makes it more meaning-filled to me, at least. I love your made-up words: windywhirling and weedytumbling. So good!

  2. Ditto! I love the poems. Thank you for your comments on my post! Maybe we should revolt! I really like slicing! We can still post but we wouldn't have a central location, would we?
