March SOLC Has Begun!

Who's ready for breakfast?

Welcome all!  Welcome!  Welcome!
I'm part of the Welcome Wagon for SOLC!

The best and worst thing about March is about to begin!

I say the best because it is full of surprises,
such words to warm your heart!
I say the worst because it is full of surprises,
and I like having a plan to start.

One never knows where their day will go, so who knows what your writing will be about?  You just can't plan it.  Wing it, wing it

I know that for all of April, I will be posting in the A to Z challenge, and I already have a handle on my theme and know it will be posting a poem a day for Poetry Month.  That is all set to start thinking about more.
But March?

As I flipped through some pictures the other day, I noticed a few of my pet photos, and that got me thinking about maybe focusing on a daily post of animals - mine and others - we'll see.  They play a big part in day to day living here.  I don't have children to write about so you may be getting a whole earful/eyeful of pets!

We'll see.  Even I may not be able to stomach that.
So I guess that leaves us up in the air - to write about little occurrences that strike me as write-worthy this month.  You will probably enjoy that more anyway.
Pets leave hair.

  1. Although I have some ideas written down in my notebook, I never plan too much. Don't you think it's fun to just see what pops in your head to write about? Here's to 31 days, Donna.

  3. Does that mean Noah will be featured? I love his voice. I love your voice too. I love that I won't be covered in pet hair after reading your posts too. What fun this month will bring!

    1. Noah says he wants to shed some hair on "Starring Noah Catterdays"(Saturdays) and I have just been informed by the dog that Noah is muttering about making Mewsdays (Tuesdays) about him also. We will see! He has stated that it must say "Starring Noah, and not "Also starring the cat". He has also informed me of the requirements that he be quoted accurately, AND the dog never looks better than he, AND he reads it first. I am thinking about his requirements. He may get catapulted.

  4. I too never think I have enough in my "back pocket" to write about each dy. But, some how it works. I do love writing about my niece's cat . . . she has even posted a few times! Also Donna, New Mexico has fabulous weather . . . 4 seasons, winter is about a month long, very few bugs and quite dry!

    1. Hmm. That sounds like an interesting place. In a few weeks I think we are doing some traveling to see what other spots their might be available for a second retirement home. I love Maine summers, but the winters are a bit loooonnnngggg for us now since shoveling isn't so much fun any more.

  7. Donna, I am looking forward to once again reading your daily posts. My post today echoes yours in that I have no idea where my writing will take me this month. It is always an adventure.

  12. If you will include adorable pictures like the one here, then I vote for the pet slices--it's worth the shedding. Looking forward to seeing your choices.
