Lost Glove #2

Lost Glove #2

On this pole I’ll stay
To show you the way -
You’ll get to the bay
A mile that a’way.

  1. I love these glove poems! What a fun way to celebrate these poor mate-less cast-offs. (In Georgia it's not so much abandoned gloves one sees - but shoes sometimes. How do people lose a shoe?!)

    1. I know. I've seen and have some pictures of single shoes too! How can you lose your shoe and not just stop in your tracks!

    1. Yes it was! When I saw it I just had to stop and turn the car around to get the shot! It was just so perfectly pointing the way!

  3. Love the photo and poem! Once I saw a shoe left by a US postal box. I always wanted to write that poem. Where was the other shoe? The owner? Did the person jump into the mail box? Wish I had had a camera!

    1. Oh, that would have been a fun shot and poem. I'm going to go hang out by a mailbox!

  4. Did the pink one go away? Love this Donna. Perhaps you should paint your poem on a sign to post it there. I guess this is a continual occurrence, right?

    1. I should check on Pink Glove and see how she's doing! Mittens and gloves are like socks except they are left out in the wild instead of being lost in the wash!
