Sorry, I'm in a Fluckadrift

Yesterday and the past few days have been busy and uncomfortable, so this part is short and to the point.  A to Z Challenge, April post a day except Sunday.  Letter F today.    Hoping today is easier so I can get back to enjoying the month.  I got a doctor's note today to excuse me from jury duty next month.  They'd have to let me bring my own chair and let me stand up any time I wanted to and walk around a bit.  I don't think they do that. I like jury duty, but I think I'm finished doing that.

Sorry, I’m in a Fluckadrift

I’m in a fluckadrift writing poems
But don’t floccipend, or ignore them
Though I can be folliful
And some times quite comical
I’m in hopes that I’ll write a fair gem.

  1. That sounds quite painful. I hope you'll be excused from jury duty, and spend the time walking, drawing and writing poems for us.

    1. Yes, it can be. Been going on since my first Cov-vacc unfortunately. Showing some improvement with OT focusing on nerve pathways and muscle tension.

  2. Those sound vaguely dirty. Sorry you can't serve jury duty, but your health is way more important.

    1. They are quite interesting. Had a hard time concentrating on anything when I wrote this. It’s a wonder I didn’t actually use any questionable words!
