He looked like he wanted to fly off on the breeze or hug the ocean! A sandy beach is fun, but for him - a rocky beach is even funner!Donna Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13738281869266957726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604430404780110710.post-44868914900988550942015-08-06T17:07:39.725-04:002015-08-06T17:07:39.725-04:00Hi, Donna. What a beautiful picture of your grandson face to face with the ocean.Author Amokhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13636391982938592789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604430404780110710.post-1695945456085168752015-08-06T14:33:36.389-04:002015-08-06T14:33:36.389-04:00I think the open ocean where we are is about as co...I think the open ocean where we are is about as cold as you can get without ice. It is usually in the low 50's. You know it must be time to get out of the water when you begin to like it - it means you are becoming delirious and hypothermic! Ha! Love the look on the faces of "people from away" when they go running into the water for the first time. Quite shocked! It looks like the same water as Florida...
BTW: Got your "Postcard from Maine"! Thank you. I love it. The picture is gorgeous, too. May I share it on Friday?Donna Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13738281869266957726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604430404780110710.post-49152007899660907392015-08-06T14:20:32.646-04:002015-08-06T14:20:32.646-04:00Seems sadly quiet this time. My grandson sleeps "camping out" in the laundry room, with sleeping bag and "Coleman" style lantern for a night light. He loves it, but that means I don't organize myself enough to do laundry between naps and night!Donna Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13738281869266957726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604430404780110710.post-29964434856817656502015-08-05T21:55:09.983-04:002015-08-05T21:55:09.983-04:00Sounds like a great visit! Maine water is even colder than NH's, which is pretty darn icy!

I like your love poem very much!Diane Mayrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09767689319000732296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604430404780110710.post-60773939703684804762015-08-05T10:21:58.662-04:002015-08-05T10:21:58.662-04:00Happy to hear you had a marvelous time, no surpris...Happy to hear you had a marvelous time, no surprise!
