I told my husband, "Oh, well, it's only March. If it's still snowing in May, I won't understand. Until then..." I'm just glad for precipitation of any kind after last year's drought. Love the image. We did not have much snow this year...and I missed it. Your post made me happy...the last of the snow people...greeting others to your neighborhood...that made me smile. Thanks for a beautiful post...and I hope that when it warms up...it will not be too hot. (There I go...starting to complain!) The new place will have radiant heating in the floor, and my husband thinks that will be all we need. I'm doubting it though. He's a wood stove kinda guy. When it finally stopped snowing, the sun melt made it even more packable-tunnels & shapes grew in our yard-much fun. My new house doesn't have even a fireplace, Donna, & we did have a wood stove-good memories building fires on very snowy days. That I will miss! It's still snowing here pretty fiercely, but beautiful to see from indoors! Snow is a magical substance when they are floaty, flaky bits of water making their way to the ground. Thanks for reminding me of the magic of snow. Our snowmen and women, like yours start to "lean" over as the sun (the only thing that is warm yet) beats down on them during the day. While I too look forward to spring's nicer weather, I am reminded of my father's words, "Don't worry about shoveling March snow, just drive over it. It will soon be gone!" drferreriblogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08800953133789773280noreply@blogger.com
