A to Z on a Plate - F

Today line 7 in the Progressive Poem is written by Liz at Elizabeth Steinglass.
I am writing a poem a day for NaPoWriMo (#NaPoWriMo) and linking up with Margaret Simon's sharing of poems inspired by an image. (#imagepoems)
Visit more sites in the A-to-Z Challenge, where everything is about F today - Day 6! (#atozchallenge)

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Gliding osprey spies
Fish biding time, heedless of
What would nigh betide.
~ or ~
Soaring ospreys spy
unsuspecting fish to fry;
lunch was clearly nigh.

I think I like the second one best.  How about you?

Would like to try your hand at a poem with one of these plates of F?   Slip it into the comments or let me know it is on your site.
Remember, I will post them this Sunday if you have one for this week.
Here are the poems from the previous week, if you missed them.

Do YOU have a vanity plate beginning with the letter F?
Let me know in the comments!  Or just comment.
I like those, too!

  1. Interesting plates today. It was fun to figure out what they were saying (or could be say. Who knows if I'm even close!)

    1. I thought FLGRL was for FLower GiRL at first and then realized it must be FLorida GiRL!

  2. Another great set of letters to muse from. :-) Here's my tweet of the day for FANTAZA:

    zany words clink-linked
    fantasy pings and jingles
    like bottles in trees

Can I write 26 haiku and tweet them all month? LOL I'm giving it a go.
